Incubator and Microbusiness Developmental Programs

By giving residents from around the City access to expertise and international visibility, the program aims to empower entrepreneurs and workers to accelerate their growth and provide them with access to the market.

BVFA is the first community-led craft cannabis vertically integrated, minority-owned company in Maryland, and wants to help other minority-owned teams obtain a Social Equity License.

The Cannabis Micro Business Incubator Program will offer a wide range of resources and assistance:

● Retrofit the surplus of abandoned properties into vertically integrated operations (seed to sale)

● Joint Venture with existing Cannabis Operators (Operators will apply with the Social Equity division to participate)

● Partner with HBCUs like Morgan State and Coppin State for the cannabis-related workforce and business development.

● Provide pipeline training programs for entrepreneurs seeking to become licensed to participate in the adult-use cannabis industry.

● Develop targeted pipeline development programs to support formerly incarcerated or other individuals affected by the “war on drugs.”

● Develop a cannabis-related tourism district that will provide a designated 21+ cannabis-related business ecosystem attracting funds and people back to the community.
